Absence Policy Notice

An absence note must be turned in within three days of an absence, per district policy.  Failure to submit an absence note will result in the absence being marked illegal.  Absences will not be excused if the note is received after the three day window.  Please adhere to this policy and remember attendance is important.  Students learn and grow academically when they're in school.  Please make every effort to have your child at school on time and only keep them home when they are ill.

In addition, effective January 2016, students must submit an educational trip form to the school office 10 days prior to the absence or the absence will be considered illegal.  Students are permitted 5 educational trip days per year and additional days will be considered illegal.  The form is available from the school office and on our web site.
